DEMO 2008 is a live forestry show taking place September 18 to 20, 2008.  Held every four years, this is the first time for the international show in Nova Scotia.  Come to learn how the Department of Natural Resources helps manage our resources for today and tomorrow for all Nova Scotians.  The department’s 1.5 hectare site includes a walking interpretive loop and will include a café-style tent featuring the current and past winners of the Woodlot Owner of the Year who will speak to forestry management.

Ciderfest is being held in Bridgetown Sept 19-20th. An annual fall festival celebrating the apple harvest in the beautiful Annapolis Valley. Ciderfest is four days filled with fun, food and friends.
