2010 Halifax Career Fair
University students exploring career options should make plans to attend the 2010 Halifax Career Fair on September 28th at the Cunard Centre. With an expected 140 businesses and government agencies participating – including many companies from Nova Scotia - this will be a premier recruitment event and your opportunity to make the right connections for your future.
1Organized by the career and employment centres at Mount Saint Vincent University, Saint Mary’s University and Dalhousie University, the fair provides direct access to potential employers. Recruiters will be on hand to provide information about organizational culture, career opportunities, cooperative education and internships programs.
Some of the participants include Bell Aliant, CITCO, Michelin, Keane, Halifax Shipyard, Sobeys, plus many others. Participating government departments include: Public Service Commission and the departments of Labour and Workforce Development, Education, and Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal.
