Nicom IT Solutions is the largest independent Information Technology consulting firm in Nova Scotia. Since 1982, consultants at Nicom IT Solutions have converted technical challenges into system solutions for clients from emerging companies to large multinational and government organizations.
Nicom’s focus is to help organizations become more efficient through the use of information technology. Their expertise includes IT consulting, project management, business analysis and software development, web design and development and technical support services. Nicom also has the resources to fill short-term information system staffing needs through their staffing services division.
Nicom IT Solutions has extensive experience in the transportation sector, especially with Ports and Pilotage Authorities, developing logistics systems for Halifax, Saint John and Philadelphia. A container tracking system developed by Nicom for the Port of Halifax, won an award from the American Association of Port Authorities.
Another area of expertise for Nicom is in colleges and associations and they have over a dozen associations as clients including the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia, CMA Nova Scotia and Bermuda, and the Nova Scotia College of Paramedics.
