Nova Scotia Children and Symphony Produce Special Recording of O Canada
This spring, for three days, a group of children from schools around the province got together as Children’s Chorus of Nova Scotia. Most of them met for the first time, and in three days not only put on a beautiful concert of songs they learned in that brief time period, but they also did a recording of O Canada with Symphony Nova Scotia.
The beauty of this work, in two languages, warms the heart and reminds us how valuable a resource our children are. The CD they produced is being distributed to all the schools in the province, as the official O Canada for years to come!
Have a listen, at http://www.cbc.ca/ns/features/ocanada/. (Production credits and children involved are also listed there.)
The Symphony Nova Scotia web site tells the story behind the recording, at http://www.symphonynovascotia.ca/default.asp?mn=1.293.430&sfield=content....
Glowing hearts, indeed!
